Thermal Printer does not use any ink in it. It depends on Thermal paper to print on it. Thermal paper is special type of paper which coated with solid-state mixture of dye. Color of the printing depends on the color of dye. Typically the color of dye remains black. But user can also place the special order for others-color dye. So obviously Color printing is possible.
